Molly Marsh looked shaken and upset as she was dumped from Love Island in the most brutal of circumstances on Friday night, at the hands of returning star Kady McDermott. And viewers have already complained to ITV about what happened, urging them to bring Molly back, as others speculate that she might not be gone for good.
Molly has been coupled up with Zach Noble, since he stole her from Mitch Taylor, having been forced to choose a girl to pair up with after entering as the first bombshell of the new series. The two have been going strong ever since, with bookies fancying them to win the ITV2 show this year but, on Friday night, Love Island staged quite possibly the most savage elimination of its eight year history.
After loads of speculation, season two 'pocket rocket' Kady shocked the Islanders as she walked into the villa as another late arrival, seven years after her first stint on Love Island. The girls were out on a spa day when Kady made her entrance and, when they returned, the former contestant made an effort to sit down and chat with them.
However, the friendship quickly turned to tension, when after being summoned by text to the dreaded fire pit, the Islanders could only sit and watch as Kady was told to immediately steal a boy from another girl, with her going for Zach having been instantly 'drawn' to him. Molly appeared to be taking her split from Zach in her stride, until she too then received a text, telling her she had been dumped from the island with immediate effect and had to pack her bags to leave.
Kady looked stunned, as she quickly apologised to Molly, as the camera looked at her co-stars all looking absolutely gutted, particularly Zach. And their reaction were mirrored by the ones from Love Island viewers on social media, who were angry producers could be so cutthroat, as others predicted we'd see Molly again by the time the series is over.
