Molly-Mae shares heartfelt promise to daughter Bambi on her first Mother's Day

Molly-Mae Hague has celebrated her first Mother's Day by sharing a collection of treasured photos along with a sweet promise to her baby daughter. Molly-Mae, 24, welcomed baby Bambi on January 23 with Manchester boxer Tommy Fury.

The creative director for fashion brand PrettyLittleThing paid tribute to her own mum and grandmother as she posted a picture of all four generations together on her Instagram. The star, who shot to fame on the ITV2 dating contest Love Island in 2019 where she met and fell in love with Tommy, also 23, tugged at heartstrings as she opened up her photo collection.

"Four generations," she wrote proudly with the snap of the ladies together with Bambi. "Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful mum and Bambi's great nana."

Molly-Mae shared a picture of newborn Bambi with the words: "Being your mum is an honour little girl." And she penned a heartfelt message to her daughter with a picture of the first-time mum cradling her next to a picture of her Disney namesake.

She said: "Here's to the many years of kissing your face a million times a day (until you get embarrassed) I will always do my best each day to be the best mummy to you."

Earlier this month Molly-Mae shared an honest account of parenting a newborn. She admitted to only just feeling like she's getting her life 'back in order' after giving birth.

She told fans in a candid Instagram Stories post that up until now she had been "winging her way through each day" and had been surprised by how challenging being a mum to a newborn is. Molly-Mae said that she's speaking out to provide comfort to other parents finding the first weeks "super challenging."

She wrote: "Bambi is six weeks old on Monday. My little best friend for life. The last two days have been the first time I've felt like I'm slightly getting my life back in order.

"Up until this point I've literally just been winging my way through each day, not finding it particularly easy at all (to be honest) ... waking up in the morning/going to bed at night thinking 'here we go again.' New born life is absolutely no joke!"

She continued: "So many people said to me 'it gets easier' and I've had days where I really didn't believe them or see how it would get easier, but finally I'm starting to see that it does!" she wrote.

"We've got a little routine in place not and whilst it doesn't go to plan every day and every night it's really helped me feel like I have a slight understanding of how the days and nights might look.

"I just hope this comforts any new mums/dads out there that are finding those first weeks super challenging. I can't explain how much they took my by surprise. But it truly does gradually get easier day by day."
