Molly-Mae Hague was left in tears on Tuesday night after her beloved cat, Eggy, got stuck on the roof of her Cheshire mansion.
Former Love Island star Molly-Mae, 23, who welcomed her first child with boyfriend Tommy Fury last month, took to her Instagram stories on Wednesday to share her turmoil as she posted a video of her precious cat stuck on the icy roof of their home.
New mum Molly-Mae, who called her first-born daughter Bambi, explained that Eggy had been stuck on the roof for two days in the freezing cold.
Although she and Tommy called a fire brigade to help get him down, it was too dark and too dangerous, and so, Eggy had to sleep on the roof for a second night in a row until one of Molly-Mae's kind neighbours came to the rescue with a ladder.
Explaining the stressful situation on her Instagram stories, Molly said: "So, Eggy managed to get himself stuck on our roof... for nearly two days. I actually can't believe it.
"We tried everything to get him down, but the roof is so steep - he tried once to come down and slipped the whole way but luckily he landed in the gutter. I literally thought that was it for him when he was falling.
"We called RSPCA who referred us to the fire brigade who came but couldn't get him down because they said it was too dark. So he was literally up there all night balancing on the beam, freezing."
Molly-Mae went on to thank their 'amazing friend' who rushed to the rescue.
"Thank god for our amazing friend who came with a ladder today and managed to get him after a lot of trying."
New mum Molly-Mae then treated her fans to an update as she shared a sweet snap of her beloved Eggy sprawled out beside her in her plush bed.
"He hasn't left my side since," Molly gushed following her fears that Eggy could have died.
Molly-Mae and Tommy share two cats together, Eggy and Bread - with Molly regularly sharing sweet updates of them on their social media.
The former Love Island couple, who fell head over heels on the show when they stormed the villa back in 2019, became first-time parents to baby Bambi last month.
New mum Molly-Mae gave birth to Bambi on January 23, but the pair decided to keep their happy news under wraps until they announced it with an adorable snap of their little family, one week later.
