Molly-Mae Hague's battle with endometriosis and fears she couldn't have kids

Molly-Mae Hague is expecting her first child, after previously revealing she feared she may struggle to conceive a baby with beau Tommy Fury.

The former Love Island stars, both 23, took to their respective Instagram pages earlier this afternoon [September 25] to reveal the PrettyLittleThing Creative Director is pregnant with their first baby - with fans, friends and celebrity pals rushing to congratulate the pair on their happy news.

The mum-to-be and her boxer boyfriend of three-years shared the news on Instagram with a video of Molly-Mae saying "I can’t wait for the adventures that we haven’t even dreamed of yet" from her finale speech during their time on the reality show that first introduced them to each other in 2019, before the camera panned to reveal the star's growing baby bump.

Over recent years, Molly-Mae has opened up about her battle with endometriosis and been praised for using her huge platform to raise awareness of the condition that can affect women of any age, including teenagers, and have a severe impact on sufferer's lives and fertility.

"My two main symptoms have been the excruciating periods and the excruciating sex," Molly-Mae admitted on her YouTube channel when discussing how she lives alongside the condition.

"I will be honest, I do believe the painful sex symptom is what pushed me into getting my problem fixed, into working out what was wrong with my body because not only was I doing it for me and fixing it for me, which is obviously the main reason, I was also trying to do it for Tommy."

Last year, the mum-to-be had surgery in an attempt to relieve some of her pain and make her life more comfortable, but sadly some symptoms haven't disappeared.

"In regards to the painful sex, that unfortunately never changed, it is something that is an ongoing issue," she admitted to her fans after the procedure.

"I had a blood test and MRI scan because I am going to see a specialist in London in regards to that situation. I couldn’t ask for a better boyfriend in regards to my endo journey," she added, paying tribute to partner Tommy. "He has been so understanding and so caring."

Molly-Mae first revealed she had been diagnosed with endometriosis in June 2021, after fans advised her to see a doctor after the former Love Island star admitted she had been experiencing excruciating periods.

"It's not a good thing that I have endometriosis, because obviously it can affect fertility, it can affect loads of things, and you can never actually really cure endometriosis," she mused as she shared her health update with fans last year.

Despite admitting that she and Tommy always had dreams of having a large family, Molly-Mae previously insisted that if they were blessed with even one child amid her diagnosis, she would be eternally grateful.

Professional boxer Tommy, also 23, previously admitted that he would love nothing more than to have four children with the woman of his dreams, Molly-Mae.

"I want four kids but it’s Molly’s body and she’s the one who has to go through it - but I’ll be there with her every step of the way,” Tommy told The Sun.

“I’m a big family man and come from a big family too and it’s something we talk about a lot. I don’t think it’s in the far too distant future.

“We’re so young but we’ve been living together for three years now - we shared a bed the night we met and then every day after that for months so it’s like we’ve been together six years."
