Molly-Mae Hague reveals secret childhood passion on Belfast trip

Molly-Mae Hague has been championing Belfast's food scene this week during her visit to the city.

The Love Island star and Creative Director of Pretty Little Thing has been enjoying a break in Northern Ireland and sharing her experiences of the city to her Instagram fans.

But the 22-year-old has also shared a major throwback snap, revealing her past stint as an Irish dancer.

On Friday, she was at The Waterfront Hall for The World Irish Dancing Championships.

Over 3,500 dancers from over 20 countries worldwide, 20,000 spectators are gathering in Belfast this Easter to celebrate and compete in the 50th Anniversary of Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne.

Watching the Irish dancers on stage with her childhood friend and fellow influencer Stephanie Lam, Molly-Mae revealed their motivation for visiting Belfast this weekend.

Sharing videos from the impressive dances on stage to her 6.3million followers, Molly-Mae said: "Wow. Wow. Wow. The Irish dancing is why Steph and I have come to Belfast.

"We both used to Irish dance and have always said we want to come and watch the world championship so here we are."

She then went on to share a major throwback snap of herself and Steph in their heyday as young dancers.

"Can you cope," she captioned the previously unseen childhood snap of herself dressed up in an Irish dancing dress.

Later the pair enjoyed a meal at popular Italian restaurant The Chubby Cherub in Belfast city centre, including meatballs and chocolate brownies.

Molly-Mae added: "The amount we've eaten the last two days isn't normal".

On Thursday night, Molly-Mae enjoyed a meal out at the Dumpling Library, an Asian inspired tapas restaurant at St Anne's Square in the Cathedral Quarter.

She also enjoyed a late-night snack of desserts on top of her hotel room bed at the Grand Central, delivered by Belfast takeaway Rocco's, based on the Falls Road and Antrim Road.

Molly-Mae is the latest in a string of celebs and TV personalities to visit Belfast in recent times.

Kevin Hart is currently in the city for the filming of new Netflix production Lift, and will perform three intimate shows at the Limelight this weekend.
