Molly-Mae Hague has told fans how she made 'tiny hints' about the choice of name for her daughter before she was born. The influencer and her boyfriend Tommy Fury welcomed their first child into the world back in January.
The couple, who met and fell in love on Love Island in 2019, delighted fans last September when they revealed that they were set to become parents. And after sharing her pregnancy journey with her fans and followers, Molly-Mae confirmed they'd welcomed a baby girl on January 30, a week after she was born at a London hospital, with a sweet hospital snap showing the new family-of-three before later confirming her unique name
Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 23, opted for the Disney-inspired moniker, Bambi and were met with a mixed response. The following week after announcing their baby girl's unique name, Molly-Mae emotionally addressed the backlash she and Tommy had received for their choice.

At the time, in her first YouTube vlog after becoming a mum, the creative director for fashion brand PrettyLittleThing burst into tears as she gazed down at her then tiny bundle of joy and said: "I literally just said 'welcome back to my channel.'" And she asked her daughter jokingly: "What have you done to me? This is me crying all time, so emotional."
And on announcing her unique name, Molly-Mae said it turned out to be a "hard day." She said: "I switched Instagram comments off. I was brought back down to earth very quickly of how nasty this world can be. She explained: "Because we'd literally known that our first baby girl was going to be called Bambi, we had gotten so used to the idea that that was going to be her name and to us it wasn't really that unusual anymore.
"And I know it's unusual and unique and not going to be to everyone's taste, but when we announced it, in my mind it was just beautiful, it's her, she's Bambi and that's a beautiful name, amazing, amazing... and then just two seconds after posting it I was like, 'Oh my God!'"
Ahead of her baby’s birth, Molly teased fans that the name she’d picked was very unique and that people would "love or hate it". Now, in a brand new Q&A with her millions of Instagram followers, Molly-Mae was again asked about her daughter's name. She was quizzed on what she thought of some of her fans' predictions including Cloud and Halo.
She then explained why she opted for the exclusive unusual name choice as the former reality star told her 7.5 million Instagram followers: "I thought it was cute. I just love individual names so much… I was in a class at school with 3 Mollys and I always wished I had a name no one else had."
She added: "People did also guess it was Bambi! As I used to give a few small hints." Later, asked what hints she gave, Molly-Mae responded by posting a photo of herself wearing black shorts and an oversized t-shirt with a doe on it that also had the text "good spirits" on it. "Tiny tiny hints," she then typed with a laughing emoji.
