Molly-Mae Hague has told fans how she was left 'sobbing' on her first Mother's Day. The new mum was basking in pure joy on Sunday (March 19) as she reflected on being a first-time parent to her daughter, Bambi, after welcoming her into the world with her boyfriend Tommy Fury back in January.
The couple, who met and fell in love on Love Island in 2019, delighted fans last September when they revealed that they were set to become parents with an adorable black and white video which reflected on their time in the famous Majorcan villa before showing Tommy planting a kiss on Molly-Mae's blossoming baby bump.
After keeping fans updated on her pregnancy, influencer Molly-Mae announced on January 30 that she and boxer Tommy, both 23, had welcomed their first bundle of joy into the world on January 23 at a hospital in London, sharing the first image of the new family of three.
She has since been sharing glimpses into her new life with her baby girl, including sharing her birth story with her loyal YouTube subscribers last month. And over the weekend, Molly-Mae showed how she spent her first Mother's Day.
The creative director for fashion brand PrettyLittleThing paid tribute to her own mum and grandmother as she posted a picture of all four generations together on her Instagram. The star tugged at heartstrings as she opened up her photo collection. "Four generations," she wrote proudly with the snap of the ladies together with Bambi. "Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful mum and Bambi's great nana."
Molly-Mae shared a picture of newborn with the words: "Being your mum is an honour little girl." And she penned a heartfelt message to her daughter with a picture of the first-time mum cradling her next to a picture of her Disney namesake. She said: "Here's to the many years of kissing your face a million times a day (until you get embarrassed) I will always do my best each day to be the best mummy to you."
Taking to her main Instagram grid, Molly-Mae shared a picture of herself doting on her baby girl and said: "You’ve made me into the best version of myself beautiful girl." Tommy was quick to reply, writing: "My world," while sister Zoe Hague said: "Best mumma ever. We all love you."
Stacey Solomon was also keen to send her own wishes as she marked her first Mother's Day as a mum of five. "Happy Mother’s Day Mumma," she typed with a love heart eyes emoji. But it was also an emotional day for Molly-Mae after she was sent a gift from her own mum.
Holding up a children's book, the front cover read: "On your first Mother's Day. BAMBI loves Mummy this much," before a blonde cartoon character was seen with her arms out wide. "Just had this in the post from my mum," Molly-Mae said alongside a string of crying emojis. "Made me sob," she confessed.
She then gave a glimpse of the inside of the book which, again, featured her baby girl's name and said: "But mummy, who love you heaps and heaps more?" Molly-Mae added: "Personalised story book," alongside a string of emojis.
Tommy also paid tribute to his girlfriend on her first Mother's Day, posting a video of her looking casual as she spent time with Bambi, and clearly besotted. Setting the video to John Legend track, Wonder Woman, the boxer penned: "I couldn’t have asked for a better mother to our little girl. We love you our Wonder Woman…Happy Mother’s Day." Molly-Mae was quick to respond as she said in the comments: "I love you both so much."
