Molly-Mae Hague revealed that she was left devastated when she woke up on Wednesday morning to see that her incurable skin condition had returned overnight.
The former Love Island star, 22, took to her Instagram stories to unveil the realities of her latest getaway to Spain as she told her followers that her life isn't always as incredible as it seems.
The blonde beauty has been incredibly open about her health issues in the past - having documented her cancer scare and endometriosis journey.
Molly-Mae decided to get candid once again with her adoring admirers on Wednesday when she revealed that she was beyond saddened to see her skin condition return while on holiday in Spain - where she is shooting a brand-new campaign for her tanning brand, Filter by Molly-Mae.
The influencer shared a photo of her arm as she opened up about her pigmentation condition.
"I actually can't believe I've woken up this morning to my pigmentation having come back," Molly-Mae penned.
"It took me a whole year to get rid of this last time. I didn't get my arms out because I was so self-conscious.
"I actually can't believe it's come back. No idea what could have caused it."
Molly then added: "I think the actual term for this is tinea versicolor."
The condition, which is also known as pityriasis versicolor, is a common fungal skin infection that can cause patches of skin to change colour.
Although a GP can prescribe treatment for the condition, it can keep coming back regardless.
The patches usually appear on the chest, upper back, upper arms, neck or stomach and present themselves as pink, red or pale brown patches which do not tan in the sun.
Molly-Mae previously opened up about her skin condition in a YouTube video where she revealed that she refrained from showing off her arms for months on end because her pigmentation had become so bad.
The blonde beauty admitted that she felt 'weird' about showing her arms because her skin condition had her feeling so low that she felt a though she couldn't embrace her insecurity.
