It might have been a few years since she was on the show but Molly-Mae Hague has shown fans she's just like any other viewer when it comes to watching Love Island.
As we edge closer to the big final, the 2019 islander showed she has been invested in the series as she commented on Friday night's romantic episode of the ITV2 dating show which saw the final two of the five 'epic dates', M.E.N reports.
Luca and Gemma were the last couple to enjoy their final date in a private courtyard where they were serenaded by a six-piece ensemble.
After watching scenes unfold between the pair, 23-year-old Molly-Mae took to her Instagram stories to share a snap of Gemma, gushing over her as she said: "What a girl," with a heart eyes emoji. She then questioned the dynamics of her relationship with Luca, by adding: "But is hers and Lucas love language acting like they hate eachother? [crying with laughter emoji] because that date was different..."
And she was only saying what many Love Island viewers were also thinking. @user17393817738 tweeted: "Do gemma and luca even like each other anymore why’s this is awkward#LoveIsland." @eds_afterglow said: "The Gemma and Luca final date had to be the most miserable final date in love island history, they looked like they would rather be anywhere but there, no spark or chemistry #loveisland." @Mimimxa2 added: "Gemma and Luca have such a weird energy… I can’t watch this awkward date man #LoveIsland."

After a yacht trip, fun-filled fiesta, and an appearance from Alfie Boe the previous night, Tasha and Andrew were seen on a beach within a Kardashian-inspired giant 3D heart made entirely of red roses during the episode .
Arriving for the date, the pair appeared stunned as Andrew exclaimed: “That’s actually insane”, jokingly adding that Tasha had said she wanted a lot of roses. Reflecting on their time in the villa, Tasha told him: “I never thought I’d ask a guy to be my boyfriend. "I felt it had to be me to do it, to prove to you, to show you, I’m willing to do this, I’m ready to be 100% for you and all for you. That shows to me how it should be."
Andrew later shared that one of his favourite moments was when Tasha told him about her “superpower” of her hearing aid. "You’re incredibly brave and that’s a quality that I love about you. I want to be there for you no matter what, support you,” he said. As Tasha became emotional, he added: "I got you. I got you, babe."
Luca and Gemma were the last couple to enjoy their final date in a private courtyard where they were serenaded by a six-piece ensemble. Sitting at a table set up above a pool of water, Gemma opened up about their relationship, saying: “We wind each other up. But we both love it.
"You know I find it hard being lovey-dovey, but I feel like I’m quite more lovey-dovey with you than anyone really before. I always find myself gravitating towards you. I always want to be near you and in your company." Speaking about their future plans, Luca added: “I feel like we know what we are anyway, and we ain’t put a label on it...
"But obviously one of them surprises (back home) might be putting a label on it when we’re ready. Just waiting for the right moment. Hopefully, I get the right answer."
Fans also picked up on Gemma's reaction when she said she was 'excited' to be heading out of the villa with Luca., however, they believe she seemed happier upon her return. @itsrenwa said: "Gemma looked more excited explaining the date, then she was on the date #loveisland." @KerryORegan4 commented: "Why is Gemma more excited about talking about the date, than she actually was on the date #boringhell #loveisland."
