Molly Mae Hague has come under fire after she announced she's releasing her autobiography at the tender age of 22.
The Love Island winner and social media influencer revealed she'd written 'Becoming Molly-Mae: My Story' which will go on sale for £20.
Molly-Mae told her followers: 'I have been keeping a huge project, a little secret, from you guys for well over a year now...and today is finally the day that I can finally speak about what it is...
"I can't believe I am about to show this to you guys...so I have written my very own book.
"This is Becoming Molly-Mae, my first ever book.
"And it is literally, this is my baby, we have honestly put so many months of work into this book you have no idea and it's been such a journey and such an adventure, venturing into this whole new world of writing a book, it is something that I have always, always wanted to do."
'Molly Mae said she had overshared some of the information in the tome.
She said: "It has been a massive dream of mine. You guys obviously know that I am a massive over sharer but in this book I share oversharing to a whole new extreme.
"I have spoken about things in this book that I have have only told close family members and friends. You really do get the full BTS the whole behind the scenes up until this very point.
"So my whole journey. It is just very special to me and I could just burst with the fact that I am now able to talk to you guys about it and it is now available to pre-order."
Becoming Molly-Mae is available from Penguin Books and details 'the moments, relationships and life lessons' she has dealt with.
The book sees "the teenager holding down a job at Boots whilst building her dreams at fashion school, her journey to Love Island and how she copes with fame today".
Fans had mixed reviews online with some noticing the book's title was similar to Michelle Obama's 2018 memoir Becoming.
One said: "We all have the same 24 hours a day and Molly Mae can't even use those to come up with her own book title."
Another added: "Molly Mae releasing a book titled 'Becoming Molly-Mae' has got to be one of the worst responses to being called privileged and out of touch oh my days."
Someone else quipped: "Molly Mae is writing a book about how she became Molly Mae. Ch.1 - I look fit Ch.2 - I went on Love Island Ch.3 - I bagged the one with a famous brother Ch.4 - I got sponsorship deals. THE END."
And another ventured: "You know what I won't even judge Molly Mae for writing a book on how she became Molly Mae (as ridiculous as it is), who I will judge are the people that buy it."
Someone else defended: "It’s not a book on how to become her it’s a book on how SHE became Molly Mae the brand. It’s her life story thus far. No other Islander (there’s been prettier, blonder, skinnier, richer, more charismatic islanders) has achieved what she has at 22 even with all their privilege."
And another said: "If you don’t like molly mae or dont agree with her life choices… simply don’t follow her/ buy her book ? Why hate?? Many people write books etc but why spread hate, she is a 22 year old girl? Cba with people seriously."
