Mollie King has said she is “over the moon” as she revealed she is pregnant with her first child with fiancé Stuart Broad.
King, who was formerly a singer in girlband The Saturdays, shared her happy news with fans on social media on Tuesday.
Taking to Instagram, the 35-year-old uploaded a black and white photo showing cricketer Broad, also 35, lovingly kissing her blossiming baby bump.
The Radio 1 presenter captioned the snap: “Stuart and I are so so happy to share that we’re expecting a baby later this year! We’re absolutely over the moon.”
She followed by a red heart emoji.
Her ex bandmates Rochelle Humes, Frankie Bridge and Vanessa White were among the first to congratulate her.
Humes, who has three kids herself with husband Marvin Humes, wrote: “Best news ever.”
“Can. Not. Wait!” penned mum-of-two Bridge, along with a heart-eyes emoji.
“Incredible news,” White wrote.
Other famous faces among the sea of comments included Love Island host Laura Whitmore.
She said: “Delighted for you both! Massive congrats. So much love! Xxx”
Denise Van Outen said: “Wow! Congratulations. So exciting,”
While Jess Wright wrote: “This is so beautiful congratulations darling’”
And I’m A Celebrity star Giovanna Fletcher sent a string of red heart emojis.
Dad-to-be Broad also replied to the post with three red heart emojis.
Sharing the same image on his own Instagram account, he wrote: “Mollie & I are thrilled to be expecting a baby at the end of the year! Exciting times ahead!”
She responded: “I love you so much.”
King and Broad were first linked in March 2018 but briefly split five months later in August 2018.
The couple were spotted together again in February 2019 and confirmed that they had reunited the following month.
They confirmed their engagement on New Year’s Day 2021 on social media.
