Mollie King says Matt Edmondson had no idea she was pregnant - despite her dropping hundreds of clues.
The Saturdays star announced she was expecting her first child earlier this year with her fiancé Stuart Broad but she didn't tell her friend and fellow podcast host Matt straight away. However, she dropped hundreds of clues as to her big news, but admits he was completely oblivious to them and had absolutely no idea she was expecting.
Mollie also gave Lorraine viewers an update on her pregnancy. She opened up about her unusual cravings as she insisted she was doing really well and was looking forward to becoming a mum.
Speaking about her cravings, she said: "I wanted things like apples and pizzas. Apples on pizzas could be good ... I was pregnant whilst filming the series and I was sure that Matt knew about it because we were together every day. He was completely oblivious."
Matt also admitted Mollie dropped lots of clues to her big news - but he was completely "oblivious".
"There were loads of clues. You stopped drinking coffee, your diet was different to normal. She took naps all the time. She was napping next to me on a bed, she said, 'do you mind if I take a nap?' And she put on the audiobook of Bridget Jones' Baby. All the clues were there, but it came as a big surprise when she told me," he added on ITV's Lorraine today.
Mollie announced her pregnancy earlier this year in a sweet post on social media.
"Stuart and I are so so happy to share that we’re expecting a baby later this year! We’re absolutely over the moon," she shared, as her fans and friends rushed to offer their congratulations to the happy couple on the news.
Her former The Saturdays bandmate wrote: "Best news ever," whilst Frankie Bridge gushed: "Can. Not. Wait!" Denise van Outen then added: "Wow! Congratulations. So exciting," as Jess Wright shared: "This is so beautiful congratulations darling."
Stuart recently opened up about the pair's nuptials, admitting everything was booked up so they'd have to wait a little longer.
He told The Express of the pair's plan to tie the knot: "It's obviously been a tricky time to plan a wedding. We were looking at trying to do it last summer but then it just felt too risky, that it might get cancelled.
"No we haven't got as far as that but it's certainly at the forefront of our minds and it will happen at the beginning of next year."
