Mohamed Salah has appeared to provide a hint over his future with the Egypt national team.
The Liverpool forward suffered yet more heartbreak on the international stage when his country failed to qualify for this year’s World Cup in Qatar. Egypt lost their play-off to Senegal in a penalty shootout, the same situation as the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in February.

In the shootout, Salah missed from the penalty spot as Senegal won 3-1 after the tie ended 1-1 following extra time. However, several lasers appeared to be shone in Salah’s face from the crowd before he took his spot-kick.

Sir Kenny Dalglish joked that Luis Garcia was a 'traitor' for playing for both Liverpool and Barcelona during Saturday’s legends match at Anfield.
A star-studded Liverpool legends team was beaten 2-1 by Barcelona. Despite taking the lead through Steven Gerrard’s penalty, the Reds were pegged back when Giovanni raced clear to finish past Sander Westerveld a minute before the break.
Barca then sealed victory in the opening stages of the second half when Rivaldo converted from the penalty spot after Phil Baab brought down Giovanni inside the box. Referee Peter Bankes had no hesitation in pointing to the spot.
