Mohamed Salah expressed his pride at reaching another landmark for Liverpool – as he praised the “unbelievable” Anfield atmosphere for helping inspiring a comeback.
Salah netted the 150th goal of his Reds career as Jurgen Klopp’s side came from behind to beat Norwich City 3-1 at home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Egyptian recorded the milestone in his 233rd appearance for the club, with only Roger Hunt (226 games) having got to 150 goals for Liverpool in fewer matches.

And a delighted Salah said: “It feels great. I’m always proud to score for this club and the most important thing is to win games which is what we did today.
“The manager was speaking to us before the game and was saying in the last eight games Norwich had won four. So they know how to play, they know how to win.
“It was a tough game. To concede a goal here at Anfield especially in the second half in the beginning was a little bit tough but the crowd was behind us, the atmosphere was unbelievable and we managed to come back.”
Liverpool have now lost just two of their last 48 games and have maintained their grip on second place in pursuit of Premier League leaders Manchester City.

And Salah added: “What we can do is focus on each game and that’s the most important thing.
“We know when you fight with City, City most of the time they win games.
“So all we can do is focus on ourselves and see what happens at the end of the season.”
