Mohamed Salah has been dropped for Liverpool's Premier League clash with Chelsea after Jurgen Klopp made six changes from the team that lost 4-1 to Manchester City.
Full-backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson, who struggled last time out at the Etihad, have been dropped to the bench for the Reds.
In midfield, summer signing Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliott have lost their place in the starting XI, with six fringe players stepping into the first team for the trip to Stamford Bridge. Virgil van Dijk is also missing from the team that were thumped by Man City, but the Dutchman is out with illness and didn't train on Monday.
Joel Matip replaces Van Dijk on the teamsheet with Konstantinos Tsimikas taking Robertson's place on the left flank.
Joe Gomez, meanwhile, takes Alexander-Arnold's place at right-back, with Curtis Jones replacing Elliott and Roberto Firmino coming in for Gakpo.
The most interesting change made by Klopp is his decision to drop Salah, who scored Liverpool's consolation against Man City, for Darwin Nunez.
Klopp's dramatic decision to make six changes will be largely down to protecting his players from injury amid the current fixture congestion.
But the German certainly seems to be making his feelings clear following Saturday's defeat by City, which showed a gulf in class between the two sides.
Van Dijk said after the game: "We're going to have a meeting together, but the turnaround is quite quick with Chelsea on Tuesday, so it's a big day.
"If you're losing the way we lost, then definitely there will be some hard talking. That's really normal. We're grown men."
He added: "It was a tough afternoon, definitely. We're very frustrated. That's the feeling. We're trying, we're trying, but this was frustrating. I think the first half was quite even, obviously a fantastic goal by Mo (Salah) but they scored a good goal as well.
"In the second half (going down) 2-1 was a big blow."
