Mohamed Salah agent posts cryptic tweet after Michael Edwards and Julian Ward photo

Mohamed Salah’s agent has provided a potentially cryptic hint on his client’s future at Liverpool.

Salah has been in fine form this season, scoring 30 goals and providing 15 assists in all competitions. That has seen the Egyptian help Liverpool reach three major finals - winning the first, with two more to come - as well as compete for the Premier League title.

And on Thursday night Salah received the award for The Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year. The 29-year-old wasn’t alone in attending the ceremony in London, though, having been accompanied by several Liverpool staff.

Anfield legend and club ambassador Ian Rush was in attendance and presented Salah with the award - as well as being on the same table as the Reds No.11. Rush was also joined by Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas.

And Abbas posted a photo on social media from the ceremony - featuring two other key Liverpool staff members. Those were sporting director Michael Edwards and his soon-to-be successor Julian Ward.

While the attendance of Edwards and Ward alongside Salah and his agent mean nothing concrete, it’s likely to provide further speculation over the forward’s future. Salah's contract is set to run out in 2023 and there are no signs of an extension - at this stage.
