NEW DELHI: To bring health facilities closer to people, Delhi government is planning to set up mohalla clinics on the premises of Metro stations.
Sources said after long deliberations, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has finally agreed to allow the health department to initially open mohalla clinics at eight stations that witness a fairly high footfall. While Delhi government has planned to open 1,000 mohalla clinics across the city, it aims to have at least 75 such facilities at Metro stations.
