Is the Modi jacket and Nehru jacket the same thing? The terms are increasingly used interchangeably. In retail spaces, the sleeveless band-collar waistcoat is now marketed almost entirely as the 'Modi jacket'. Even fashion commentators have begun referring to it that way.
