A modern building in Scotland has been named among the finalists for the 2022 RIBA Stirling Prize award. The Forth Valley College – Falkirk Campus has been picked out with five other finalists from around the UK and the winner is set to be announced next month.
London-based buildings dominate the six-strong shortlist, with just two outside the UK capital in Falkirk and Cambridge.
And the 21,000m2 campus, which is the college's headquarters facility and includes a Centre of Excellence for Sport, was completed recently based on the design by Reiach and Hall Architects and cost around £78m to complete.
