Model Kate Moss expanding new beauty range by selling products made of sea moss

Kate Moss has set a model example of how to run a business by expanding her online beauty brand, just weeks after setting it up.

The 48-year-old, who trademarked “soulful, sensual, self-aware” Cosmoss earlier this month, now wants to sell… moss.

Documents lodged with lawyers show that “moss for medicinal purposes” is just one of the many new products Kate has in the works. She currently sells face cream for £95, a Sacred Mist fragrance for £120 and even tea bags, which cost £20 for a box of 20.

Beauty enthusiasts rave about the benefits of sea moss in facial products.

Dermatologist Dr Karen Hammerman says: “Due to a high sulphur content, sea moss has anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-microbial functions, and it is therefore believed to help with balancing the skin microbiome. Sea moss may also help reduce wrinkles and protect from environmental elements.”

Model Kate was once nicknamed The Tank for her impressive ability to sink booze, but she has now been sober for five years and lives a quiet life in the Cotswolds.

These days, she prefers meditation to partying, recently telling the Desert Island Discs podcast: “I like to go to bed, get up early and do my meditation before anyone is up.”

Kate is the latest star to cash in on the healthy living craze.

She is following a trail blazed by actress Gwyneth Paltrow, 49, who set up wellness brand Goop – which is now worth a reported £180million.
