A Brazilian Instagram model chose her cuddly toy over her "jealous" boyfriend when he give her a "me or the teddy bear" ultimatum.
But she's since married a man who, she says, is happy to share his wife and their bed with the bear.
Mimi Boliviana, 33, has travelled the world with her cuddly companion - aptly named Teddy Bear - visiting 30 countries together, including the Maldives, Dubai and Mexico.
They have also dined in restaurants, taken balloon rides and jetted across some of the globe's most beautiful seas.
She claims her boyfriend became so fed up with the bear he told her she had to choose between the two of them. And she chose the bear.
"Of course I had to choose my Teddy Bear – I couldn't believe he made me choose,” Mimi told NeedToKnow.online.
"I always have Teddy Bear by my side. I even sleep with him in the bed, which was obviously an issue for him [my ex boyfriend]."
Glamour model Mimi says she hasn't been chucked out of anywhere because of Teddy Bear but was once refused entry to US music festival Lollapalooza.
Despite her bond with Teddy Bear previously ending a relationship, he was present when her now-husband popped the question.
Mimi documents her travels with her 335,000 followers on Instagram (@mimizinhaofficial) and on TikTok, but has received some backlash from users claiming she is sexualising a child's toy.
She added: "I always sleep cuddled with the teddy bear. Now that I'm married I don't always sleep cuddled with him, but he's in bed.
"My husband has no problem having the teddy bear in our bed."
But despite her husband's seal of approval, Mimi gets a mixed response online.
Commenting on one of her TikTok videos with the bear, a social media user said: "That's not okay."
Another person said: "My God what they do for some [likes]."
One TikTok user said: "No judgement."
Another person added: "That stuffed animal is happy.
"The little guy looks good," said another social media user.
