Fitness influencer Whitney Johns appeared to be knocked out by social media star 6ar6ie6 in their boxing match, but the referee allowed her to fight on in the next round.
Johns, 32, took on self-proclaimed "goth girl" 6ar6ie6 in the opening round of Kingpyn's High Stakes tournament at the Wembley Arena on Saturday night. Johns was struggling to deal with 6ar6ie6's huge size advantage as the fight got underway, with the Australian OnlyFans star landing some big punches early on.
Both women were scrapping it out in the centre of the ring but with the lack of experience was soon on display as their gas tanks began to fail them at the end of the opening round. After falling behind on the scorecards, Johns appeared to find a second wind in the third stanza and was responding to the corner advice from her spouse and coach UFC veteran Chris Camozzi.
6ar6ie6 responded well in the fourth round and dropped Johns in the final 10 seconds with a huge uppercut followed by a right hand. Johns was seemingly out of it but the referee allowed her to get back to her feet as she stumbled back to her corner. Johns came out for the fifth round and was able to make it to the final bell, but lost a one-sided decision with the judges scoring it 50-45, 50-44 and 50-44 in favour of 6ar6ie6.
6ar6ie6 thought she had knocked out Johns at the end of the round as she said in her post-fight interview: "I thought I had her knocked out! I thought I did it, but I didn't do it. Everyone doubted me, I said I could do it." 6ar6ie6 will face Emily Brooke in the next round whilst Johns will take on Amber O'Donnell.
Brooke enjoyed a winning debut in London, outpointing fellow first-timer O'Donnell over five rounds. Elsewhere in the tournament, there were victories for King Kenny over My Mate Nate and for Jully Poca who outpointed Daniella Hemsley in front of her raucous Brazilian fans.
