NO decisions have been made over where at least six new munitions and explosives factories will be built, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has insisted, amid questions over whether a proposed weapons components facility at Mossmorran could form part of the UK Government’s expansion drive.
The MoD told The National that no companies or sites have yet been selected, but confirmed the first of at least six new munitions and “energetics” factories is expected to begin construction by the end of this year.
