Mohamed Salah's agent has rubbished claims that his client has met with PSG bosses in an attempt to leave Liverpool.
The Reds endured a disappointing campaign in the season just gone, missing out on qualification for the Champions League. A rebuild of Jurgen Klopp 's squad is expected to take place over the summer window with James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both departing already.
There have been some concerns from Reds supporters that Salah may look to follow them as Liverpool struggle to keep up with Manchester City. Those concerns grew exponentially on Thursday when Sports Zone reported he had met with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Al-Khelaifi is said to be working on the transfer window and is 'testing the waters' with regards to a move for Salah. It was reported he has kept contact with Salah since the World Cup and in a meeting this week floated the idea of the Reds star replacing Lionel Messi in Paris.
But Salah's agent has quickly moved to deny those talks took place, insisting he is not looking to move on. From his Twitter account, Ramy Abbas Issa wrote: "No, he did not. That’s the short story."
Salah was left understandably pained by the events of this season and has refused to hide in the aftermath. He was the first Liverpool player to send a message to supporters after the final game of the season.
Alongside a black and white image of himself, he tweeted: "I’m totally devastated. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed.

"We are Liverpool and qualifying to the competition is the bare minimum. I am sorry but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We let you and ourselves down."
For his part, boss Klopp expects Salah to remain at Anfield and help Liverpool recover from their awful season. Ahead of the final game of the season, the German made it clear that Salah will remain a key part of his squad.
"No worries, no. I only heard what he said but I couldn't read anything that could lead in that direction. Obviously Mo loves being here and Mo was part of it. He said apologies for what 'we' did," he said.
"If ever a player would come to me and said, 'oh, we didn't qualify for the Champions League, I have to leave', I would drive him to the other club myself. I would take the key, [and say] 'come in the car, where do you want to go, I drive you'.
"That would be something I never could understand. It is, I would say, 'oh, we didn't qualify for the Champions League, I need to work in the Champions League so I go'. I am responsible for this mess, or whatever, so you cannot go in these moments.
"It is not the case with Mo, not at all, and nobody else told me. So that was not in our conversation. I saw him now in the canteen and he was smiling. I don't know for which reason as I didn't ask him, but he is not in a bad mood. That's it."
