MLBB MSC 2026 at Esports World Cup format
The MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 begins with the Group Stage, where the 16 qualified teams are divided into two groups of eight. Each group uses a double-elimination bracket. Every match is played as a best-of-three (BO3)) series. The top four teams from each group advance to the Knockout Stage, while the bottom four teams are eliminated from the tournament.
In the Knockout Stage, teams that finish the Group Stage with a 2-0 record earn the right to choose their quarterfinal opponent from the pool of teams that advance with a 2-1 record. The selection order is determined by each team’s point differential (game wins minus game losses), followed by total winning time during the Group Stage. If teams remain tied, the tiebreakers compare the shortest and longest durations of individual game victories and overall match wins.
All Knockout Stage matches are played as best-of-five (BO5) series, except for the grand final, which is contested in a best-of-seven (BO7) showdown.
