The Rangers were without Adolis Garcia for Game 4 of the World Series after he was removed from the roster due to injury. It turns out they didn’t need him on Tuesday night.
The Diamondbacks bullpen game didn’t get off to a strong start, and four pitchers and 10 runs later, Arizona was facing a double-digit deficit by the end of the third inning.
The Rangers scored five runs in the second and third inning, becoming the first team in MLB history to score five-plus runs in back-to-back innings in a World Series game, per OptaSTATS.
Corey Seager hit a two-run shot in the second inning, his third home run of the World Series, while Marcus Semien provided five RBIs by the end of the third inning as the Rangers pulled ahead 10-0.
The early blowout had baseball fans stunned, as Arizona was being beatdown in front of its own home crowd at Chase Field. The MLB world had plenty to say on social media after Game 4 of the World Series quickly got out of hand.

How many times have I said it: @Rangers Corey Seager, is the kind of player that you circle before the game and say to yourself: if needed, let’s give him the Barry Bonds treatment (walk) and not let him beat me #Worldseries #walkhim #coreyseager

Diamondbacks are down 10-0 and there’s a chance we see position players pitching in the World Series.

The Rangers lost a star and a future Hall of Famer to injuries today. But it's the Diamondbacks that are falling apart. 10-0 in the third. Wow.
