Negro Leagues Baseball Museum President Bob Kendrick is back in MLB The Show 26, once again spotlighting some of the biggest names from the golden era of the Negro Leagues. Season Four of the Storylines mode keeps the tribute going with four more legends stepping into focus. This group features one of the greatest catchers the game has ever seen, a feared power hitter, the finest shortstop the Negro Leagues produced, and a trailblazing young woman whose presence on the mound spoke louder than her size ever could.
Players can take control of Roy Campanella, Mamie “Peanut” Johnson, John Henry “Pop” Lloyd, and George “Mule” Suttles while experiencing a mix of gameplay, historic footage and storytelling that digs into what made each of them special. As Season Four progresses, users can unlock classic stadiums, uniforms, bat skins and more, including Mack Park, Bush Stadium, Rickwood Field and Terrapin Stadium. New Baltimore Elite Giants uniforms are part of the mix, along with returning looks from the Indianapolis Clowns, Detroit Stars and Kansas City Monarchs.
Season Four also expands the Storylines experience with ten additional players and deeper features on Willie James “El Diablo” Wells, Ray Dandridge, “Smokey” Joe Williams, Willard “Ese Hombre” Brown, Ted “Double Duty” Radcliffe, and Joseph Preston “Pete” Hill. The update arrives in April at no additional cost, with more stories scheduled to arrive as the season continues.
