Expectations are different for all 30 MLB teams heading into the season.
For some organizations, they’re right in the midst of their championship window, which ups the ante on the 2026 campaign. Those teams are in the mindset of “World Series or bust,” and anything short of a title would be considered a disappointment. For others that are still not quite on the caliber of some World Series contenders, just making the postseason is a more realistic goal.
