Com2uS has announced a major update for MLB Rivals to celebrate the 2026 World Baseball Classic. To build momentum ahead of the tournament, the game now includes Daily Missions, an Event Pass with milestone rewards and an Event Scout feature that lets players use tickets earned through event challenges.
As the tournament gets underway, MLB Rivals will feature interactive content tied to the real-world schedule. Players can take part in events like the Player Acquisition Event, Pick ’em and the RBI Battle Event with more additions like the Lucky Wheel Event and Event Workshop arriving over time. Starting in the Quarterfinals, the Scoreboard Event will offer bonuses based on actual game results, giving players another way to stay connected to the action.
The Event Game mode lets users play through six rounds on stadiums modeled after real venues, including Daikin Park in Houston and loanDepot park in Miami. New exclusive cards featuring tournament participants are also being added and they can be used on any roster while receiving bonuses based on real performance. Upgrade requirements for these cards have been lowered, making it easier to build a competitive lineup.
MLB Rivals is available on Steam for PC, the App Store and Google Play Store.
