The Diamondbacks are going back to the World Series for the first time in 22 years after stunning the Phillies in Game 7 on Tuesday night, 4–2. Arizona will take on the Rangers in the Fall Classic, which starts Friday night.
Arizona won Games 6 and 7 in Philadelphia to punch its ticket to the World Series. This came after the Diamondbacks swept the 100-win Dodgers in the NLDS.
The final out against the Phillies was a fitting one for the Diamondbacks, with star rookie right fielder Corbin Carroll making a catch down the right field line that set off quite a party both on the field, and in Arizona's locker room.
Here’s Brian Anderson's call of the last play from the TBS broadcast:
The Diamondbacks stun the Phillies in Game 7 to advance to their second World Series in franchise history.

Brian Anderson tried his best Jim Nantz tribute after the final out:

Fans were not a fan of that line:
Brian Anderson spent all day working on that line.
