The 2022 MLB postseason continues, and we’re down to JUST FOUR teams vying for a World Series trophy in a brand-new format that’s actually terrific and good for baseball. Woohoo!
There will be a bunch of TV coverage of the playoffs, with the best-of-seven National League and American League Championship Series kicking off. And if you’re here, you might be wondering whose voices you’re hearing for whatever playoff game you’re watching at the moment.
That’s what we’re here for! This one’s specifically about the Championship round, with two different seven-game series. Let’s break down who FOX, FS1 and TBS will have on the mics for their respective MLB playoff games:
Philadelphia Phillies vs. San Diego Padres (FOX/FS1)
Joe Davis, John Smoltz, Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal
New York Yankees vs. Houston Astros (TBS)
Brian Anderson, Ron Darling and Jeff Francoeur
Bob Costas will not be calling the ALCS on TBS. Brian Anderson will be play by play with Ron Darling and Jeff Francoeur
