Knicks center Mitchell Robinson has a special bond with his high school basketball coach William “Butch” Stockton.
Stockton told the story of how the unlikely duo became roommates this NBA season while attending Thursday night’s Knicks vs. Pistons game.
Stockton's wife died in September. While she was sick in the hospital, Robinson visited every day he could, and the former coach and player became even closer than they already were.
