Mitch Taylor has caused some serious tension in the Love Island villa with a shock confession about Jess Harding. And his unexpected advances towards another girl in the villa, come days after viewers raised concerns over his behaviour towards Molly Marsh.
Love Island fans voted for Mitch and Molly to be coupled up on day one, before the first bombshell of the new series, Zac Noble, upset the applecart by 'stealing' her after just 24 hours on the show. Despite Mitch making it very clear to Molly that he is still very much interested in her, she only has eyes for Zac, with him then encouraging Jess Harding to choose Molly as the 'most two faced' person in the villa, as viewers questioned just what he was playing at.
However, it now looks like Mitch has given up hope of trying to try and change Molly's mind, as ITV sources have revealed that he has told Jess that he is really attracted to her. Jess is currently coupled up with Sammy Root, but, not letting that stand in his way, Mitch pulls Jess aside for a chat, in scenes that will air on Friday night's Love Island.
Mitch tells Jess: “I am available… I kind of want to get to know you a bit more.," adding: “The She’s A Keeper thing (football themed challenge)… watching you, when you fell on your a**e I went, ‘I fancy this girl.’ I swear to god. Now you know I fancy you a bit.”
It doesn't take long for word of Mitch and Jess' conversation to get back to Sammy, with Sammy telling his new love rival: "“I’ll be real yeah, I thought it was a bit sly. Mentioning it in front of all the boys instead of just pulling me and just saying, ‘Sammy, I’m feeling Jess.’
He adds: “I haven’t got a problem with you chatting with her, I just thought it was just a little bit sly.”
