Questions are mounting over Mitch McConnell's health as the Kentucky senator approaches 80 days out of public view, with a security presence reported outside his Washington residence and no announced timeline for his return to the Senate.
McConnell, 84, was hospitalised on 14 June after a fall at his Washington home. He later disclosed that he had briefly lost consciousness and was treated for a mild case of pneumonia.
