Patrick Theodore Barnett, a 40-year-old Colorado resident, stands accused of first-degree murder after a gruesome domestic tragedy in Lakewood exposed a hidden world of deceit.
Early on a Thursday morning, Barnett placed an emergency call claiming he woke up to find his 37-year-old wife, elementary art teacher Lindsey Barnett, unresponsive and bleeding in their shower with a severe neck gash. However, when first responders arrived at the South Welch Circle residence, the physical layout and blood-spatter evidence completely contradicted his narrative.
