Brogan Anderson admits it’s a case of mission complete after helping seal the SWF Championship title for Livingston, writes Angus McGregor.
The versatile ace signed for the club in November from top flight outfit Motherwell and has more than proven her worth with a string of impressive displays for the side.
At the time she signed, the Lionesses had already started the campaign brightly and Anderson admits that promotion was her main goal when she joined and said she was delighted to get it over the line.
She commented: “I feel like I’ve achieved what I came here to do. When I came in the girls had already done really well in the league.
“I just wanted to help them along and provide what I could to help win the league and we’ve gone and done it.”
She added: “Our performances haven’t been great recently but I think that might be due to the pressure we’ve been under. But we like to be under the pressure whilst being at the top of the league.”
A naturally gifted attacking player, Anderson has been utilised in several different positions since joining, playing three different roles in the last three outings.
She says she’s more than happy to play wherever is needed for the team - but joked that she’d not be too keen on a defensive shift.
She said: “I’ll honestly play anywhere to help the team out. Midfield, striker, wing, whatever. If I need to play in defence which I never have, and hope I never have to, then so be it.”
