A woman who has been missing for nearly two weeks has been found dead in bushland near Orange.
On November 30, Esther Wallace, 47, was reported to have become separated from a companion while walking at the Mount Canobolas State Recreation Area.
Police found her body on Sunday at 4pm while searching bushland where the woman went walking.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
The bushwalker and her friend went walking to look at the sunrise on Wednesday morning at 1am when they later became separated.
Her partner raised the alarm at 8:30am.
NSW Police had held grave concerns for the woman, who was not an experienced bushwalker and may have injured herself given the terrain.
Some clothing, including a white jacket and a shoe print, had been found, but testing was yet to confirm if it was connected to Ms Wallace.
A massive search had been conducted for days, with police and emergency services combing the rugged bushland of the popular lookout site.
