Missing Scots man has head wound and was last seen with two dogs

Police are appealing for the public's help in tracing a missing 31-year-old man from Crossgates in Fife.

Officers are concerned for the welfare of Craig Baillie because he has an existing head injury.

Baillie was last seen at around 11.30pm on Friday January 21 in the area of Main Street in the Fife town with two small bulldog-type dogs.

He is described as white, around 6ft 2ins and of heavy build with short brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing a dark jacket and dark shorts - and also had a dressing on a wound on the back of his head.

Inspector Tony Rogers, of Fife Division, said: “Extensive enquiries are underway to trace Craig.

"We are growing increasingly worried for Craig and just want to know that he is safe and well.

“If anyone has seen Craig or has any information or knowledge of his whereabouts, please contact police as a matter of urgency.

"Similarly, if Craig is reading this I would ask that he contact police so that we can confirm his welfare."

The public is encouraged to check CCTV, doorbell cameras and dashcam footage if they are in the area of Main Street or drove through there at the time Baillie was last seen.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact officers at Cowdenbeath Police Station on 101, quoting incident number 3878 of Friday, 21 January, 2022.
