A missing Scots dad has been spotted wearing a baseball cap in Edinburgh and in Inverkeithing.
Andy Bonnes was reported missing from Lundin Links in Fife on Tuesday August 2. Now, officers believe he could have travelled to the capital two days later on the Thursday.
The 57-year-old was last seen wearing a black jacket and baseball cap. His frantic family issued a desperate appeal on social media last week in a bid to trace him.
Andy's son, Gordon, said at the time: "This isn't a post I'd ever thought I'd make, but my dad Andy Bonnes has gone missing. If anyone sees him please get in touch ASAP with myself, or the police or Kirsty Goodman.
"He doesn't have his phone, and was last seen at 9am on Tuesday. In times like these, I hope social media can rally together and find him, and get him home safe.
"Please Share to get the word out."
Levenmouth Police shared a renewed appeal on their Twitter page.
It reads: "Andy Bonnes, 57, reported missing from Lundin Links on Tuesday, August 2, is believed to have been in Edinburgh and Inverkeithing area on Thursday, August 4. Andy was last wearing a black jacket and black baseball cap as per the attached image."
Anybody with information on the dad's whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101.
