Missing Kaitlyn Easson, 11, from the Scottish Borders, has been found safe and well, police have confirmed.
The schoolgirl had been reported missing by her concerned parents on Sunday afternoon from Galashiels' town centre.
A huge search operation was launched to track her down, with members of her family spending all of last night joining the search.
Police Scotland has now confirmed in a statement that the 11-year-old has been found 'safe and well'.
They said in an update: "We can confirm Kaitlyn Easson reported missing from Galashiels has been traced safe and well.
"Thank you to all who shared our appeals."
Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Catriona Paton, had earlier said they were growing ‘increasingly concerned’ for Kaitlyn’s welfare.
She had described the situation as the "most distressing of times" for the girl's family.
