The family of a dog who ran off while out walking in Co Donegal two days ago has begun a mass search this morning.
Skylar, who is a Saluki, was recently taken into foster care by Peter Vij and his daughter Caitlin in Derry.
Skylar's rehoming came after she was rescued six weeks ago and had to undergo emergency surgery.
The poor pup went missing on Monday (May 18) after being spooked by an overtaking car near the North Pole Bar in Inishowen.

A search for Skylar got underway in Inishowen this morning at 10am but she still hasn't been found.
Peter's sister Lisa spoke with MyDerry , urging anyone who could join the search to contact her.
"This entire story is heartbreaking and it really upsets me to get into it," she said.
"This dog had to be saved a few weeks ago by Friends of Rescue in Derry because she was on the brink of death. She was in a really bad way and she had to undergo surgery for the abuse she endured. She wouldn't eat or anything.
"He decided that he would foster her and she's been in his care now for the last few weeks and he was told that he would need to keep her for a while before the move could become permanent.
"He would always take her on a walk with his daughter Caitlin to Co Donegal.
"Well, she is a nervous wreck as it is and when Peter and Cailtin were coming back from Doagh Island yesterday a car overtook them and she panicked.
"She jumped from the back seat into the boot. Peter pulled over to try and calm her down and get her back into the car but by the time he had the boot halfway opened she bolted in a panic and we haven't been able to find her since."
It's understood that Skylar was last seen wearing a baby pink collar and will have distinguishable marks on her body from the abuse previously suffered.
"We're in need of drones because they would be best to try and help us find her," Lisa added.
"We're desperate at this point and we'd be willing to pay for the drones even though we don't really have the money to be forking out.
"We are out here at the minute and it's impossible. The land that surrounds the area where she went missing is entirely green land.
"It's going to be impossible to find her without the help of a drone. We just want to find her.
"We fear that she might be trapped somewhere because she had her collar and lead on. She's very shy so it's unlikely that she would walk up to someone if they spotted her so we're asking for them to contact us straight away if they see her."
If you spot Skylar or believe you have spotted her within the last 24 hours, you can contact her Lisa on 07934552893.
