A teenager missing in Inverness since Wednesday has been found safe and well.
Scott Shearer was dropped off at the Co-op on the city's Telford Street at around 5pm and hadn't been seen since.
The 17-year-old was meeting a friend there.
Scott was supposed to be picked up at 6.45pm that same night but did not show up.
Police Scotland launched an appeal for information in a bid to find him.
Officers scoured local CCTV and went door-to-door in the area, asking locals if they have seen the teenager.
Anyone with knowledge of Scott's wherabouts, or who may have seen him since he disappeared, was urged to come forward.
On Friday afternoon police revealed that the teen had been found safe and well.
A statement from Highlands and Islands Police Division read: "Scott Shearer has been traced safe and well.
"Thank-you to everyone who shared our appeal."
