Missing Glasgow man 'may have travelled to Carlisle' as police appeal for help

Police searching for a missing Glasgow man believe he may have travelled to Carlisle.

Brian Lundie disappeared from Kelburne Gardens in Ballieston at roughly 4.30pm on Wednesday, March 1.

However, officers believe the 41-year-old may have made his way to the Carlisle area, where he was seen around St Nicholas Street between 9pm and 10pm on Thursday, 2 March.

Brian is described as white, 5ft6in tall, of stocky build and bald. He was last seen wearing a dark green Nike tracksuit with a hooded top and black Adidas trainers.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and have urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to get in touch.

Inspector Scott from Shettleston Police station said: "It is very much out of character for Brian to be out of touch with his family, who are understandably concerned.

"If you believe you have seen Brian or have any further information as to his whereabouts, please contact police 101 quoting incident number 1988 of Thursday, 2 March.

"We'd also ask Brian himself to get in touch with his family, friends or police to let everyone know he is safe and well."
