A woman found dead in an overturned car in woodland had been reported missing two days earlier.
Eileen Johnston, 88, from Croydon was killed at the scene after her car ended up in woodland off a sliproad near Tonbridge.
Officers found her inside a silver Nissan Micra with a number plate starting LJ06 at 2am on November 8.
Her family have been informed.
As part of their enquiries officers are also examining the circumstances relating to a report to the Metropolitan Police Service, that Eileen had been missing from her home near Croydon.
Yet another serious crash on the #A21 near Tonbridge this morning in the pouring rain. My 10y old son took this photo on the school run this morning. He wants people to drive slowly in the rain!! Second serious crash in less than 24h on the same stretch.
