Missing clause puts Igor Stimac's exit on hold

NEW DELHI: Has a missing clause in Igor Stimac's new contract earned him an unlikely reprieve from the pink slip that the All India Football Federation (AIFF) had all but decided to hand him after their senior committee meeting on Friday?

Apparently missing from Stimac's extension contract, which he signed on Oct 3, 2023 up until 2026, is the sub-clause 9.1 under Termination and related aspects, which essentially stated that the coach would be reimbursed up to three months as compensation in the event of a termination.
