Manchester United fans enjoyed some welcome injury relief on Monday afternoon as Alejandro Garnacho posted a picture of him back in football boots.
Garnacho was forced off in the 0-0 draw against Southampton in March following a challenge by Kyle Walker-Peters, with Erik ten Hag confirming he would be out for 'weeks' but would feature again before the end of the season. United's injury list has since hit crisis point, with the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Marcus Rashford and Raphael Varane all sidelined.
Tyrell Malacia and Marcel Sabitzer both missed Sunday's win at Nottingham Forest, meaning Ten Hag started this week with nine first-team options currently unavailable. But supporters were handed a boost to their Monday when Garnacho posted an encouraging update on his Instagram.

The 18-year-old posted a picture of himself back in football boots, alongside the caption: "Back with the boots".
Reds fans were very happy to see their young star back in training, with many taking to social media and sharing their thoughts.
While Garnacho's return this week is unlikely, United will hope to have a number of players back for their Europa League quarter-final second leg at Sevilla on Thursday. Ten Hag admitted before the win at Forest that Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay could have been involved, and even though the pair were omitted there is a sense that both are close to full fitness.
Similarly, Malacia and Sabitzer had minor problems and were not risked, however the likes of Rashford, Martinez and Varane are all expected to miss the trip to Spain.
