Jake Hall’s former partner Misse Beqiri has shared their daughter River’s devastation over his death.
Hall died aged 35 on May 6 after suffering a chest injury caused by broken glass at a rented holiday villa in Santa Margalida, Mallorca, where he had been living.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star, who appeared on the ITV reality series between 2015 and 2017, sustained fatal injuries at the property after a night out.
Beqiri - who dated Hall on and off for several years - spoke of eight-year-old River’s “horrendous” grief over her father’s death.
Talking about breaking the news to her, the Swedish-Albanian model, 39, told HELLO!: "It was horrendous and hurtful, and it's because I knew how much she loved her dad, and for me to say, 'He's not here,' it's the worst thing I've ever had to do, I think, and will ever have to do.
"And everyone was very sad and upset. We were all crying together, hugging each other, but, she got us, she got her family, she got Jake's family she's very close to, so we're all keeping together and just loving each other very, very hard."
Of how River is coping seven weeks on from Hall’s death, the Ladies of London star added: "She's getting there. We're working with her, and again, you know, with grief, it can just get her at any moment. One day she's okay, next day she's not.
“The third day she's a bit angry and has a lot of questions. We're all helping her, we're all here for her. I'm very close with Jake's family, and we're all here, like we're all there to support her.”
Beqiri praised her son Julian - whom she shares with her ex-partner Anders Lindegaard - and Hall’s brother Sonny for supporting River and said they have a “beautiful bond”.
While Misse has done everything to support River at home, she has also opened up about River's bond with her brother Julian - whom Misse shares with her ex-partner Anders Lindegaard - and Jake's brother Sonny.
Following Hall's death, Beqiri shared a heartfelt tribute reflecting on their relationship and the daughter they raised together.
She penned: “I loved you from the very first moment I saw you, and there was never a chance you were going to let me go. Together we created the most beautiful girl, the one you loved more than anything in this world, beyond words.
“I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable," she wrote. "There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter's.
“Your love for her was so strong it almost scared me, because I knew you would go to the ends of the earth for her. She adored you - her favourite person, her daddy. You will be missed. I promise to keep River safe, loved, and wrapped in the kind of love you gave so effortlessly. You are at peace now.
She concluded: “... You left behind your mini version, our River, and for that we are forever grateful. You will always live on through her, and you will forever be with us.”
Hall was best known for appearing on TOWIE between 2015 and 2024 and later launched his menswear label, By Jake Hall.
His funeral last month was attended by Beqiri as well as Hall’s former TOWIE co-stars including Chloe Lewis, Lydia Bright, James Argent, Liam Blackwell, Demi Sims, Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou.
His exact cause of death remains unknown as a post-mortem examination was inconclusive.
His death comes a decade after he was reportedly stabbed at a nightclub.
He was believed to have been attacked during a night out with friends at the Aqwa Mist club in Puerto Banus in the south of Spain.
The TV personality, then 24, was taken to hospital by his friends. He was stabbed in his right side and his kidney was affected, according to reports.
