Miss Ireland Pamela Uba flies Irish flag during open-top bus tour ahead of Miss World finals

Miss Ireland Pamela Uba proudly flew the Irish tricolour during an open-top bus tour ahead of the Miss World finals.

Pamela, 26, will jet off to San Juan, in Puerto Rico, for the grand final later this month.

She was joined by Miss England Rehema Muthamia, 25 at the event.

The prestigious beauty pageant was cancelled in December after dozens of contestants were struck down with Covid hours before it was due to start.

Rehema and Pamela had been room mates on the trip before it was scrapped but were reunited for a good-luck party this week in London.

They were treated to a luxury stay at the five star Hotel Rafayel & Spa on the Left Bank which hosted a special cocktail party for their family and friends.

The following day, the girls went on a bus tour of London and were picked up by an executive chauffeur who has driven stars such as Justin Bieber and Beyonce.

Pamela, who is the reigning Miss Ireland, said: “This was my first time in London, England and it was like a royal welcome.

“We were greeted with a surprise good luck party before we headed of on a city sightseeing London bus seeing some of the amazing London highlights.

“It was all very exciting and can’t wait to come back again soon.”

Rehema, from north west London, added: “It was such a celebratory weekend of our Miss World journey and of London.
