A Miss England finalist who was kicked and punched during a night out says police asked if her attacker was just being "flirty".
Corel-Jo Antwhistle, 22, has launched a charity to help protect young women after she was violently assaulted in Newcastle city centre.
She enjoyed an evening out at a bar with a friend and then went to McDonald's for food - where a hooded thug came up and kicked her from behind.
