Mishal Husain has said that “personality-focused journalism doesn’t have to be bombastic”, after concerns that the BBC Radio 4 Today programme has shifted focus to be more editorialised.

The former BBC journalist, 52, has moved to front a new interview series at financial and data media company Bloomberg, as editor-at-large of Bloomberg Weekend Edition.
